A woman was at work when she received a phone call that her small daughter was very sick with a fever.  She left work and stopped by the pharmacy to get some  medication.

She got back to her car and found that she had locked her keys in the car.  She didn’t know  what to do, so she called home and told the baby sitter what had happened. The baby  sitter told her that the fever was getting worse.  She said, “You  might find a coat hanger and use that to open the door.”
The woman looked around  and found an old rusty coat hanger that had been left on the ground,
possibly by someone else who at some time had locked their keys in their car. She looked at the hanger and said, “I don’t know how  to use this.”

She bowed her head and asked God to send her help. Within five minutes a beat up old
motorcycle pulled up, with a dirty, greasy, bearded man who was wearing an old biker  skull rag on his head. The woman thought, “This is what you sent to help me?”  But, she was desperate, so
she was also very thankful. The man got off of his cycle and asked if he could help.  She said, “Yes, my daughter is very sick. I stopped to get her some medication and I locked my keys in my car. I must get home to her.  Please, can you use this hanger to unlock my car?

He said, “Sure.”  He

walked over to the car, and in less than a minute the car was opened. She hugged the man and through her tears she said, “Thank You So Much! You are a very nice man.” The man replied, “Lady, I am not a nice man.  I just got out of prison today.  I was in prison for car theft and have only been out for about an hour.”

The woman hugged the man again and with sobbing tears cried out loud, “Oh, Thank you God!  You even sent me a Professional!”

Is - GOD GOOD  - or what!?

Thought for the day~

Just another friendly story to share. It will make you think about the things you choose to do in life.Hope you enjoy.Bless you all and have a Great Sunday!

Just Stay
A nurse took the tired, anxious serviceman to the bedside.

‘Your son is here,’ she said to the old man.

She had to repeat the words several times before the patient’s eyes opened.

Heavily sedated because of the pain of his heart attack, he dimly saw the young uniformed Marine standing outside the
oxygen tent. He reached out his hand.
The Marine wrapped his toughened fingers around the old man’s limp ones, squeezing a message of love and encouragement.

The nurse brought a chair so that the Marine could sit beside the bed. All through the night the
young Marine sat there in the poorly lighted
ward, holding the old man’s hand and offering him words of love and strength.  Occasionally, the nurse suggested that the Marine move away and rest awhile.
He refused. Whenever the nurse came into the ward, the Marine was oblivious of her and of the night noises of the hospital - the clanking of the oxygen tank, the laughter of the night staff members exchanging greetings, the cries and moans of the other patients.

Now and then she heard him say a few
gentle words. The dying man said nothing, only held tightly to his son all through the night.

Along towards dawn, the old man died. The Marine released the now lifeless hand he had been holding and went to tell the nurse. While she did what she had to do, he waited.

Finally, she returned. She started to offer
words of sympathy, but the Marine interrupted her.

‘Who was that man?’ he asked.

The nurse was startled, ‘He was your father,’ she answered.
‘No, he wasn’t,’ the Marine replied. ‘I never saw him before in my life.’

‘Then why didn’t you say something when I took you to him?’

‘I knew right away there had been a mistake, but I also knew he needed his son, and his son just wasn’t here.

When I realized that he was too sick to tell whether or not I was his son, knowing how much he needed me, I stayed.’

The next time someone needs you … Just be there.  Stay.

Unfolding The Rose

Good Saturday Morning my Buddies! I’ve been up since 3 in the morning, just can’t sleep.I am working today for a co-worker , Which I don’t mind I love my Lil Nuns. I was going thre some old folders and found this nice story, thought I would share with you. Hope you all have a Blessed day and remember to eat right and drink your water, and get up and move.

Unfolding the Rose

A young, new preacher was walking with an older, more seasoned preacher in the garden one day. Feeling a bit insecure about what God had for him to do, he was asking the older preacher for some advice.

The older preacher walked up to a rosebush and handed the young preacher a rosebud and told him to open it without tearing off any petals. The young preacher looked in disbelief at the older preacher and was trying to figure out what a rosebud could possibly have to do with his wanting to know the will of God for his life and ministry.

But because of his great respect for the older preacher, he proceeded to try to unfold the rose, while keeping every petal intact. It wasn’t long before he realized how impossible this was to do.

Noticing the younger preacher’s inability to unfold the rosebud without tearing it, the older preacher began to recite the following poem:

It is only a tiny rosebud,
A flower of God’s design;
But I cannot unfold the petals
With these clumsy hands of mine.
The secret of unfolding flowers
Is not known to such as I.
GOD opens this flower so sweetly,
Then, in my hands, they die.

If I cannot unfold a rosebud,
This flower of God’s design,
Then how can I have the wisdom
To unfold this life of mine?

So I’ll trust in Him for leading
Each moment of my day.
I will look to Him for His guidance
Each step of the pilgrim way.

The pathway that lies before me,
Only my Heavenly Father knows.
I’ll trust Him to unfold the moments,
Just as He unfolds the rose.
I ask For Gods help everyday in this new journey of life. He is FAITHFUL!

Something To Think About~

BUTTERFLY

The Butterfly

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could, and it could go no further.

So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings.

The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.

What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God’s way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. If God allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. We could never fly!

Amen
Hello Friends, hope you enjoyed this as much as i did. It really made me think about how we want a quick fix with our weight. We are willing to try starvation diets to only end up frustrated and ending up heavy again.God made food for us to eat, we just need to learn how to eat it the correct way and the right portions.Blessings to all, and have a great Day!

Out of the mouth of children

Judas Asparagus

A child was asked to write a book report on the entire Bible. This is
amazing and brought tears of laughter to my eyes.  I wonder how often we
take for granted that children understand what we are teaching???

Through the eyes of a child:

The Children’s Bible in a Nutshell

In the beginning, which occurred near the start, there was  nothing but God,
darkness, and some gas. The Bible says,’The Lord thy God is one, but I
think He must be a lot older than that.

Anyway, God said, ‘Give me a light!’ and someone did. Then God made the
world.

He split the Adam and made Eve. Adam and Eve were naked, but they weren’t
embarrassed because mirrors hadn’t been invented yet.

Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating one bad apple, so they were driven
from the Garden of Eden. Not sure what they were driven in though, because
they didn’t have cars.

Adam and Eve had a son, Cain, who hated his brother as long as he was Abel.

Pretty soon all of the early people died off, except for Methuselah, who
lived  to be like a million or something.

One of the next important people was Noah, who was a good guy, but one of
his kids was kind of a Ham. Noah built a large boat and put his family and
some animals on it. He asked some other people to join him, but they said
they would have to take a rain check.

After Noah came Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jacob was more famous than his
brother, Esau, because Esau sold Jacob his birthmark in exchange for some
pot roast. Jacob had a son named Joseph who wore a really loud sports
coat.

Another important Bible guy is Moses, whose real name was Charlton Heston.
Moses led the Israel Lights out of Egypt and away from the evil Pharaoh
after God sent ten plagues on Pharaoh’s people.  These plagues included
frogs, mice, lice, bowels, and no cable.

God fed the Israel Lights every day with manicotti.  Then he gave them His
Top Ten Commandments. These include: don’t lie, cheat, smoke, dance, or
covet your neighbor’s stuff. Oh, yeah, I just thought of one more:  Humor
thy father and thy mother.

One of Moses’ best helpers was Joshua who was the first  Bible guy to use
spies. Joshua fought the battle of Geritol and the fence fell over on the
town.

After Joshua came David. He got to be king by killing a giant with a
slingshot. He had a son named Solomon who had about 300 wives and 500
porcupines. My teacher says he was wise, but that doesn’t sound very wise
to me.

After Solomon there were a bunch of major league prophets. One of these
was Jonah, who was swallowed by a big whale and then barfed up on
the shore. There were also some minor league prophets, but I guess we don’t
have to worry about them.

After the Old Testament came the New Testament. Jesus is the  star of The
New.  He was born in Bethlehem in a barn. (I wish I had been born in a barn
too, because my mom is always saying to me, ‘Close the door! Were you born
in a barn?’ It would  be nice to say, ‘As a matter of fact, I was.’)

During His life, Jesus had many arguments with sinners like the Pharisees
and the Republicans.

Jesus also had twelve opossums. The worst one was Judas Asparagus. Judas
was so evil that they named a terrible vegetable after him.

Jesus was a great man. He healed many leopards and even preached to some
Germans on the Mount.

But the Republicans and all those guys put Jesus on trial before Pontius the
Pilot. Pilot didn’t stick up for Jesus. He just washed his hands instead.

Anyways, Jesus died for our sins, then came back to life again.  He went up
to Heaven but will be back at the end of the Aluminum. His return is
foretold in the book of Revolution.

Thank You- My Friends

I’ve been doing some thinking .The past few days I have read alot of blogs about God. That is great that we are not ashamed to share our love for Christ, the good thing about these blogs are ,thay have made me think and recheck myself and where I am with God in my life.

I was not brought up with any religion as a child, as I became a teenager I learned of Jesus threw a friend. Still No personal relationship with God.Then…Here came my divorce, which lead to self distruction. Drinking ,smoking, doing drugs and not caring about what happened to me.Anyways..I had to hit rock bottom to find my savior, Jesus Christ. I gave up everything for my Lord. I tought sunday school. I was in church giving to God everything I had cuz he gave me back my life. At this time in my life,Jesus was first above all things. I would get up and start my day at 4:30 in prayer and devotions. My life was great, don’t get me wrong, I still had my trials but God helped me threw them all. I even lost 50 pounds during this time of my life.I wouldn’t put food in my mouth if I didn’t give God thanks. He gave me the strength to do it.

Then for some reason, I wasn’t going to church as much and my ways were changeing and I wasn’t seeking God for things and as the days go by I talk to God but I’ve come to relize that I really MISS him!!!! I can’t do this life changing journey on my own , I need God to hold my hand and help me. Thanks for the blogs and reminding me that all we have to do is ask. Ask and you shall recieve!

Soo what I am saying is we need to thank God for everything and seek him for everything! I can’t do this without him, and I Thank God He gave me friends Like YOU!!!!

Good Sunday Morning!

Nothing speciall to say ,Just wanted to start myday off with my buddies. I’m on my way to work and thought if I stopped here It would make my day brighter. I love reading the blogs and knowing that I am not the only one with this journey ahead of me , really makes me feel better. I pray you all have a Blessed day and thanks for being You!
